MITS Institute of Professional Studies is one of the oldest Biotechnology college in eastern India and is very popular among students for its quality education and infrastructure.

It was established in the year 2002 as the first Biotech college of Odisha. MIPS has been way ahead in adapting new courses which would make successful careers for students. MIPS offers some of the best streams in M.Sc, B.Sc. and BCA programs. The institute is committed to move ahead with an education system that instills professional growth with ethical values which is need of the society. MIPS is located at Rayagada, which is one of the most important industrial towns in Southern Odisha which has direct train connectivity to 17 states of the India.
